Body language & coordination, and improvisation

Hello everyone, welcome back to my blog!!!

To be honest in the last two weeks I've been feeling quite unmotivated to do anything in general everything has been feeling really boring and plain out of sudden, but still we have to keep going as this register is almost over.

I was not actually able to attend the first blog of this entry in which Nidia gave an speech in how to use our voice as my classmates told me. After that, they also told that they had to walk on the classroom and act like models lmao.

Now when it comes to theoric part, to acheve a task succesfully we must take into consideration the following excercises:

a. Keeping focus

·        Keeping eye contact with the person in front of you while being serious

·        Keeping eye contact with one person as you walk around the classroom

b. Expressing emotions with your face and body

·        Trying to make the person in front of you laugh out loud

·        Walking as a model around the classroom as you change your sight: angry, happy, sad   eyes, etc.

·        Complimenting your classmates as you walk around the classroom

c. Improvisation

·        Improvising the scene of a movie

·        Improvising a scene depending on the background sound

·        Saying bye with speech and movement

Now for the next class to my surprise I was already in a group in which we had to make like a play or replicate a movie scene, and for my group it was the Scary Movie 1 cinema scene, where one of the characters Brenda got killed because of her shouting and screaming haha.

Funnily enough, I actually played as the character who stabbed Brenda.

There were other interpretations and plays of Shrek 2, Toy Story, but my favorite one was the one of Dany's group where she did an amazing impersonation of the gingerbread man, here is a video of it:

And well I think that would be it for this blog entry, hope you enjoyed it and until the next one!!
